What is orthodontics?
Orthodontics is a dental specialty that corrects improperly aligned teeth and jaws. Orthodontics treats a variety of conditions, including:

Advanced light force (ALF) treatment
ALF treatment makes use of a custom-fitted removable appliance to straighten your smile. The appliance uses a series of wires to reposition your teeth, jaws, and dental arches in a three-phase treatment. During the first phase, Dr. Yoo uses the appliance to gradually correct any cranial distortions. Phase two involves correcting structural distortions of your upper jaw. Phase three uses the ALF appliance and/or traditional braces to realign your teeth.
ALF treatment is a holistic approach oriented to treating your entire body. As such, it can have a profound effect on more than just your smile, potentially improving your posture and airway and minimizing or reducing your risk of developing TMJ disorder or obstructive sleep apnea.
Myobrace®
The Myobrace is a removable oral appliance suitable for patients of all ages, including children. It realigns your teeth while also correcting bad oral habits that are frequently the root causes of poor jaw growth and crooked teeth.
Unlike most other orthodontic treatments, your Myobrace doesn’t need to be worn all the time. Treatment only requires wearing your appliance overnight and for a few hours during the day, along with daily myofunctional exercises.
